Vortex is a hybrid that is almost pure Sativa. It is a cross between Appollo 13 and Space Queen, both of which come from TGA Subcool Seeds. Buds are fluffy, and bright green with vivid neon orange hairs. As you open the packet, the strong sour smell will fill your room. It has a characteristic taste, which could be described as sweet and fruity, yet different. Though I disagreed, some people claim it taste like "Rotten fruits and cow shit with a hint of mango and diesel fuel". High starts immediately after inhale, with a tingling feeling throughout the body, then you will gradually feel the head high as time passes. Normally, you will not be able to get any higher once you hit the peak, but this strain has virtually no ceiling, which is very unique. This strain allows you to control the effect even if you feel really high. For example, you can get comfortable and relax, or totally space out for an hour. After you hit the peak, you will gradually start coming down but it wont make you tired. Vortex gained a following since chronic pain patients started using it for medicinal purposes. It will take physical chronic pain away, and calm many of the emotions that come along with the experience of chronic pain. So it could apply for different parts of chronic pain. You can use this strain any time of the day since you can go pass out or be active depending on your choice or mood. Personally, I would recommend it in the afternoon.
